Mi Tierra Cocina Mexicana: Authentic Mexican Flavors in Glenpool

So glad I found this location in Glenpool for I like it a LOT better than the one on riverside. Food is amazing and very comparable to the amazing Mexican food we left behind in Texas when we moved back home to Oklahoma! Definitely my new favorite restaurant!! AMAZING food and thankfully it’s very reasonably priced!!

This was a quiet and clean spot. Our waiter was very friendly and small kid patient. The street tacos were amazing and the grilled jalapeño had wonderful char and flavor. Definitely would be a regular if we lived near.

Tucked in the corner of a store front shopping area in the bustling metropolis of Glennpool, Oklahoma lies Mi Tierra. A clean and what seems, recently remodeled restaurant in subtle black and grey tones. Yet the food is anything but subtle. The portions are large and in charge, like Large Marge. Take a look at the size of the burrito. One could float the Rio Grande with it. The carne asada steak tacos were grilled to perfection, I took it up a notch with some jalapeños. All in all, flavorful meals, not bland and the service was on point. ¿Que es más fina?

We arrived later in the evening for dinner while in the area. I recall seeing they opened a location in South Tulsa a few months ago, so I recognized the name. The place was modern and on the smaller side. Service was friendly and accommodating. Chips, salsa, and a white sauce are served to the table. All were delicious. My wife and I opted for their enchiladas rancheras. One order with shredded chicken and one with shredded beef. For both orders, we requested queso on top. Everything looked fantastic when our entrées arrived. My wife's first bite was on the colder side, but luckily, the rest was hot and delicious. When we arrived, which was after a normal dinner rush, the floors needed to swept. As we were eating, I appreciated the attention to detail as the servers and bus team cleaned tables, chairs, and floors. Rest assured, the place is sanitary from top to bottom. Overall, the food was good, and cleanliness is a priority.

We love this place. We eat or do carry out often. I called in an order for salsa only today for pick up. The man who checked me out wanted me to place a tip and referred me to the line on the receipt on top of an extra fee for using a ccard. Really?? I’m 64 years old. If you ask me for a tip, you will receive nothing. Come on, do better. Don’t beg

Mi Tierra-Mi Corazón! Great restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere, helpful wait staff, and delicious food. Their white dipping sauce is AMAZING! Reasonable prices and a good selection on the menu. If you're craving Mexican food, please give it a try. Ole'

This is the absolute best Mexican restaurant around! Food is 10/10 Service 10/10 Consistency 10/10 It really feels like this place actually cares when it comes to quality and consistency. I've never had a bad experience here and the food taste absolutely amazing. I got the Santa Fe and highly recommend it! The service here is all top notch! Highly recommend giving this place a chance!
